Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 9
The power outage from Oakland slugger Matt Joyce appears to be a run of bad batted-ball luck. Which other hitters seem poised for positive regression in Week 9?

Matt Joyce, Oakland Athletics

While surface numbers appear to show a power swoon for Oakland Athletics slugger Matt Joyce (his .377 slugging percentage marks a three-year low), much of that apparent decline seems like a figment of bad batted-ball luck. Joyce's contact quality profile is virtually the same as it was last year, when he slugged a respectable .473 -- except his line-drive rate is up yet his batting average on balls in play is notably down, and those two trends just don't jive.

Looks for Joyce's luck to change in Week 9 with five righties on the slate, including soft matchups like Nathan Eovaldi, Ian Kennedy, and Jason Hammel.
