3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 5/29/18
Taking on a righty at Coors, Charlie Blackmon's upside is hard to ignore tonight. Which other high-priced players should be on your radar?

J.D. Martinez, OF, Boston Red Sox

Price: $4,500

Toronto Blue Jays righty Marco Estrada has allowed fly-ball rates north of 50% in three of the last four seasons, and his ground-ball-to-fly-ball ratio sits at a ridiculously low 0.48 in 2018. Combining that with the highest hard-hit rate he has allowed since 2014 (33.5%) has spelled trouble, and the 34-year-old's 5.05 SIERA is on pace to be a career-worst clip.

J.D. Martinez isn't a guy who needs much help as he owns a 52.4% hard-hit and 4.8% soft-hit rate in 2018. Few people are making better contact than he is this year, and he ranks third in average exit velocity among the 331 hitters who have notched at least 50 batted balls.

The Boston Red Sox boast a hefty 5.41 implied total (second only to the Rockies on today's 14-game main slate), and Martinez offers a huge amount of upside.
