Nobody is ever going to call into question the upside Charlie Blackmon offers when he's taking on a righty at home. In 306 plate appearances matching that criteria, he has an absurd .465 wOBA and .344 ISO, which comes on a 44.1% hard-hit and 39.2% fly-ball rate over the last two seasons.
A concern tonight could be that the righty he is taking on is Zack Greinke, but Greinke is allowing an uncharacteristically bad batted-ball profile in 2018. He has been tagged for a career-high 45.0% hard-hit rate, as well as a 36.6% fly-ball rate, which represents his highest clip since the 2009 season.
Even with a potentially tough pitching matchup, the Colorado Rockies are also still tied for the day's highest implied total (5.25), and Blackmon's upside is more than strong enough to make him an elite play.
