The Minnesota Twins will start righty Lance Lynn on the mound tonight, and that should be a boon for the Los Angeles Angels offense.
Lynn, after undergoing Tommy John surgery and missing the 2016 season, posted a career-worst (by a wide margin) 4.85 SIERA in 2017. Things have been even worse for him in 2018, posting a 4.93 SIERA while allowing the highest walk rate (14.7%) and hard-hit rate (42.9%) of his career (14.7%).
Mike Trout has put together an ridiculously impressive 2018 season. His .437 wOBA and .323 isolated slugging (ISO) in 2017 were both career-bests, and he has managed to top those this year, with a .457 wOBA and .351 ISO. He's got a massive 47.8% hard-hit rate to go with a 44.2% fly-ball rate against right-handed pitching, and he should have no issues dominating tonight's matchup with Lynn.
