The electric start from Atlanta Braves rookie sensation Ozzie Albies is beginning to seem like a distant memory. Albies' outrageous .353 isolated slugging over the season's first month was bound to come back to earth, but the .164 mark he's managed since the start of May leaves a bit to be desired for daily players who are still required to pay top dollar for his services.
Still, Albies' high salary and poor recent results might make him an interesting against-the-grain play this week. Even over this cold stretch, he's still managing 39.1% hard contact with 24.4% liners and just a 16.9% strikeout rate. Plus, Albies and the Braves line up for a dream pitching schedule in Week 11, with dates against the imminently hittable Jason Vargas, Zack Wheeler, Clayton Richard, and Jordan Lyles.
