FanDuel Price: $2,900
The Detroit Tigers are another offense that we ignore more often than not, but they're cheap across the board on Tuesday, and have an exploitable matchup against Jake Odorizzi. Odorizzi has been no stranger to the long ball, serving up 29 and 30 in each of the last 2 seasons, and he's already given up 14 through 13 starts in 2018. It sure looks like his 25.0% ground-ball rate is doing him no favors.
Odorizzi has also historically shown reverse-splits, allowing a career 4.90 FIP to right-handed bats, so taking a chance on an affordable Nick Castellanos looks like a worthwhile move. Castellanos has maintained his hard-hitting ways from last year, posting a 49.0% hard-hit rate to go with a .377 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA). He may not have the pure power of other sluggers, but we'll gladly take those kind of numbers at this price.
Detroit doesn't have a single batter priced over $3,000, so you might even consider shooting for a low-owned stack in this underrated matchup.
