3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/13/18
Charlie Blackmon is a stud, but his matchup against Nick Pivetta is far from ideal. Which other players should you be avoiding on Wednesday night?

Charlie Blackmon, OF, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $4,500

There's no doubt that Charlie Blackmon is a terrific player. His well above average .377 wOBA so far in 2018 would actually be his lowest mark since 2015 if it holds up. That's how good he is.

The issue is that his price reflects how talented a player Blackmon is. However, most of his production has come at home. Blackmon has just a career .326 wOBA away from Coors Field in his career. And on Wednesday, he will be on the road facing a pitcher who has a 3.33 SIERA on the season.

Even though Nick Pivetta is a right-handed pitcher, he has actually been far more successful in getting left-handed batters out than he has right-handed hitters in his career. Left-handed bats like Blackmon have mustered just a .308 wOBA against Pivetta, and that's backed by a 25.1% strikeout rate and paltry 29.6% hard-hit rate. Those are not numbers we are looking for in our high-priced DFS plays.
