Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 14
Jurickson Profar has finally shown some solid production at the dish, and his advanced metrics say he could get even better. Which other hitters are knocking on the door to improved results?

Jurickson Profar, 2B, Texas Rangers

Daily players accustomed to padding their lineups with Jurickson Profar's ever-tempting low-cost upside have lamented seeing his FanDuel price inch into the high $3,000s in the early summer. The price bump has been justified, though: the left-for-dead Texas Rangers' infielder posted a surprising .238 ISO in May and has kept the power coming with a strong .218 mark in June.

Thing is, there's a chance Profar could be seeing even better results, with the 25-year-old flashing a terrific 47.4% hard-hit rate and 25.0% liner rate last month (not to mention a stingy 11.0% strikeout rate) while scraping by on an unlucky .225 BABIP. Some FanDuel users might be fading Profar as his salary rises, but he looks like an excellent contrarian play this week.
