This is a good week to highlight what a Jekyll-and-Hyde case Chase Anderson has been in terms of home/road splits. The Milwaukee Brewers' righty has been getting blasted at Miller Park this year, coughing up 14 homers in 54 innings pitched. All told, Anderson has a rough 4.83 ERA and an even uglier 6.23 fielding independent pitching (FIP) at his hitter-happy home field.
Now set those hair-raising totals against Anderson's performance on the road, where he sports a sharp 2.83 ERA and a respectable 3.93 FIP while pivoting from a 21.5% homer-per-fly rate at home to a 6.3% mark in his travels.
Anderson looks like a prime pick-your-spots play in standard leagues, and he's in a heck of a nice spot this week, squaring off against two of the league's least imposing offenses in two of the league's pitcher-friendliest parks. The fourth-year righty has to be the top target for lineup-lock streamers in Week 15.
