From June 1st through July 3rd, Joc Pederson hit .301/.370/.877 with 12 home runs in 81 plate appearances, helping carry the Los Angeles Dodgers' offense for the better part of a month. It's a nice bounce-back season after last year's .212/.331/.407 slash line in 102 MLB games. His 13 dingers already surpasses last year's total of 12.
Pederson still struggles against left-handers, hitting just .121/.143/.182 against them this season, but he pretty much starts against only righties these days. If you play in a league with daily lineup changes, you can do the same and get a guy who hits .275/.364/.593 versus righties and has been in the leadoff spot.
Pederson is a useful piece in fantasy if he's used correctly, and he's a nice source of power.
