3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 7/20/18
Leading the MLB in home runs and RBI, J.D. Martinez offers elite upside to open the second half of the season. What other high-priced players should be on your radar on Friday?

J.D. Martinez, OF, Boston Red Sox

Price: $4,700

A few days off for the All-Star break hasn't changed who the most productive fantasy bats are. J.D. Martinez is tied for first in the Majors with 29 home runs, and his 80 RBI are 8 more than anyone else has notched to this point. His 72 runs scored are also a top-five mark in the Majors.

Martinez has been ridiculous from the dish in 2018, ranking top-four among qualifying hitters in both wOBA (.433) and ISO (.316), and he brings that into a plus matchup with Detroit lefty Matt Boyd.

Boyd has a shaky 4.51 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) over 18 starts this season, and that puts him on pace for his third time above 4.50 in his 4 seasons in the Majors. He has been especially shaky against right-handed bats this year, with a 5.10 xFIP, and Martinez should have little issue carrying his first-half success into tonight's game.
