Another Arizona bat in a great spot against Marquez, Daniel Descalso has been having a much better year from the dish than his teammate. Over 277 plate appearances, Descalso boasts a .360 wOBA and .224 ISO, which comes on career-highs in both hard-hit (42.8%) and fly-ball (48.8%) rate.
As I mentioned for Lamb, Marquez has been particularly poor against left-handed bats this year, and bringing his production into a plus matchup leaves Descalso well underpriced here.
