Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream in Week 17
Mets righty Zack Wheeler has shown promising recent form and offers appealing upside in a two-start week.

Mike Leake, Seattle Mariners

Start: July 25th vs. San Francisco Giants
ESPN ownership: 29.9%

Mike Leake remains a waiver-wire fixture in standard leagues despite carrying a sturdy 3.36 ERA over his last 56 innings of work and 6 quality starts on his ledger since the start of June. That puny 15.4% strikeout rate is likely to blame, with a 4.42 FIP suggesting that the Seattle Mariners' veteran is likely pitching over his head.

Even so, it's hard not to like just about any halfway competent righty taking the bump against the Giants, in a pitcher-friendly park no less. San Fran limped to a .143 team ISO and .717 group OPS against right handers in the first half, setting up Leake as a solid no-frills innings eater for fantasy owners in Week 17.
