FanDuel Price: $3,400
Chris Taylor has been a huge part of the Los Angeles Dodgers' success last year and in 2018. He admirably filled in at shortstop following Corey Seager's injury until the rest-of-season replacement, Manny Machado, was brought in.
Taylor has struggled against right-handed pitching this year, however. In the split this year, he has a 31.3% strikeout rate. His 40.7% fly-ball rate and 41.4% hard-hit rate against southpaws fall to 36.6% and 35.2%, respectively, versus right-handed pitching. Those are still respectable marks, but they're not enough to make up for the astronomically high strikeout rate.
On Monday, he will be facing Zach Eflin, an underrated player in the Philadelphia Phillies' 2018 resurgence. Eflin has a 3.67 SIERA this season, but he's been at his best against right-handed hitters. He has limited them to a .254 wOBA, including a 23.7% strikeout rate and 26.1% hard-hit rate.
