Cashner has been terrible this season, and it's no surprise that the Rangers are expected to beat up on him. He has struggled to the tune of a 4.92 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) over 20 starts, and he had a 5.52 SIERA in 2017 and 4.72 clip in 2016.

Shin-Soo Choo has made some outstanding contact against right-handed pitching this year, racking up a 48.3% hard-hit rate with only a 10.5% soft-hit rate. That contact has translated to a huge .403 wOBA with a .247 ISO -- not the kind of numbers you usually see for a guy priced in this range.
