The Toronto Blue Jays have a date with Dylan Bundy of the Baltimore Orioles, and with the 11th-best wOBA (.334) over the last week, they will look to continue their hot hitting.
Bundy does possess some solid marks in his pitching profile -- a 24.2% strikeout rate and 12.6% swinging-strike rate, but Bundy's batted-ball profile tells a slightly different story, as the fly-ball pitcher has allowed the ball in the air at a 46.4% clip. That's led to an ugly 2.05 home runs per nine innings pitched (HR/9).
Randal Grichuk is nearing his third straight 20-homer season, as he owns 17 on the year. The outfielder has managed to cut down on his strikeouts nicely, reducing them from a career average 28.8% down to 24.0% in 2018. He's also putting the ball into the air plenty, with a 44.6% fly-ball rate, and that mark (45.0%) climbs slightly against same-sided arms.
Grichuk also sports a .249 ISO against righties, making him a great play in the Rogers Centre this evening.
