Not far behind the Brewers are the Houston Astros, with a 4.74 implied total.
Their offense has been rolling lately, with a 118 wRC+ (third in the Majors) over the last 30 days. Alex Bregman has been an absolute monster in that time, dominating opposing pitchers for a .491 wOBA and .337 ISO. Even if he doesn't keep up that ridiculous tear, his .405 wOBA and .256 ISO (coming on a 36.7% hard-hit and 43.7% fly-ball rate) on the year mean we're not likely to see him cool down too much.
That's especially the case when he's up against a southpaw, as he has clobbered lefties for a .412 wOBA and .265 ISO on the year. That should mean big things against Wade LeBlanc and the Seattle Mariners tonight.
LeBlanc has a strong 3.56 ERA through 29 games in 2018, but his 4.33 SIERA indicates that he has not been pitching as well as that low ERA would indicate. Right-handed bats have given him a particularly tough time, with a 4.60 xFIP in that split, and he's not likely to slow Bregman down here.
