FanDuel Price: $3,600
With over 150 1/3 innings pitched this year with a nasty 3.03 SIERA, Seattle Mariners left-hander James Paxton and his 32.0% strikeout rate are always a tough matchup. Add in that Paxton is allowing only a 27.4% hard-hit rate and 24.6% fly-ball rate to same-sided bats, Matt Olson could find it tough to showcase his massive power.
Olson has already blasted 28 long balls this year, but in the lefty-lefty split, life has been a bit harder. Over 207 plate appearances in 2018, the slugger has posted a .120 ISO and .313 wOBA, well below his marks of .250 and .350, respectively, against right-handed pitching.
The Oakland Athletics are gearing up for an upcoming Wild Card showdown with the New York Yankees, but Olson likely won't be getting his bat hot for that contest tonight.
