4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 9/27/18
Denard Span and the Mariners are in a great spot against Ariel Jurado. Which other cheap hitters should you target?

Ben Zobrist, OF, Chicago Cubs

Price: $3,000

The switch-hitting Ben Zobrist remains nice and cheap despite his solid production from both sides of the dish. He has a .353 wOBA against southpaws this season, and against righties, that jumps to .360, with a solid .155 ISO.

The Chicago Cubs' offense is in a good spot tonight, taking on righty Trevor Williams and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Williams may have an impressive-looking 3.04 ERA on the year, but he has not pitched nearly as well as that ERA indicates. His 4.67 SIERA, 18.0% strikeout rate and 7.7% walk rate are all right in line with the marks he posted in 2017. He's even allowing more hard contact and less soft contact, but he happens to be benefiting from a lower home-run-to-fly-ball rate and lower batting average on balls in play. In short, Williams has been very lucky in 2018.
