3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/4/19
Justin Bour is an inexpensive way to get exposure to the Angels' offense tonight. Is that enough to make him a top value option on Thursday's three-game slate?

Brian Goodwin, OF, Los Angeles Angels

Price: $2,100

Getting right back to the Angels, Brian Goodwin is a steal for only $100 above the minimum salary, and our models project him as the second-best point-per-dollar value among today's hitters.

He's likely to bat ninth, which does take away some luster, but on a short slate and with such a favorable pitching matchup, that's a sacrifice we are willing to make.

Goodwin has made 430 career plate appearances against right-handed pitching, and while his 33.9% hard-hit rate is modest, it comes with a 38.6% fly-ball rate, which has translated to a respectable .193 ISO. Not elite power by any stretch, but more than enough to give him big upside on a near-minimum salary -- especially while the Angels' offense projects to be the highest-scoring unit of the night.
