5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/10/19
Brandon Nimmo will likely bat leadoff with the platoon advantage on Wednesday. Does that make him worth a play despite his slow start to 2019?

Kendrys Morales, 1B, Oakland Athletics

Price: $2,400

It's surprising to get two players hitting high in the A's order as value options today, especially while they're -180 favorites in a game that FanDuel Sportsbook gives a 10-run over/under. Even if you're not stacking Oakland, who will likely be pretty chalky with multiple cheap bats in such a juicy matchup, picking and choosing value pieces is a great way to get some exposure.

Kendrys Morales is also having a rough start to the year, but he's dealing with a low .261 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) despite the fact that he's making terrific contact, with a 45.5% hard-hit rate and 4.3% soft-hit rate.

The lack of production has his price tag low, but that strong contact and low BABIP means he's likely just been getting unlucky over a small sample on the production front, and we don't need to be concerned long-term.

He posted a hard-hit rate north of 40% last year as well, so we can expect him to keep hitting the ball well, and a matchup with Straily and the O's is the perfect spot for him to start turning that into some fantasy points.
