5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/18/19
Mike Tauchman posted great numbers in Triple-A but hasn't found his groove in the Majors just yet. That could change Thursday against Homer Bailey and the Royals.

Justin Bour, 1B, Los Angeles Angels

Price: $2,700

Calhoun's regular partner in value, Justin Bour also gets the platoon advantage tonight and provides cheap exposure to the Angels' strong implied total.

Hernandez has really struggled with left-handed bats in recent years, and 2018 saw him allow a 4.68 xFIP on a career-worst 41.3% hard-hit rate.

Like Calhoun, Bour is suffering from a low BABIP (.250, compared to a .294 career-average), leaving him priced well below what we can expect once regression hits.

His overall numbers weren't anything special last year (his .324 wOBA and .177 ISO were down from a .374 wOBA and .247 ISO in 2017), but he still showed a ton of pop against righties. His 40.04% hard-hit rate and 38.5% fly-ball rate were close to his 2017 marks (42.3% hard-hit and 38.5% fly-ball), and that translated to a .349 wOBA and .221 ISO in the split.

His power gives him some big upside tonight, and the high implied total for the Angels makes his ceiling even higher.
