Price: $2,700
On the other side of that game, the Rangers have a slate-high implied total of 5.36 runs.
The Pirates are set to start righty Jordan Lyles. Lyles has fared well so far in 2019, with a 3.94 SIERA, but that's only over a four-game sample. As a starting pitcher over his career, he's given up a .344 wOBA with a 4.24 xFIP, which climbs to a .349 wOBA and 4.72 xFIP against left-handed hitters.
Unlike the Pirates, the Rangers' offense is a lot more expensive to get exposure to tonight. Rougned Odor gets the platoon advantage, though, and he's the only one of their projected top four hitters priced below even $4,000.
The low cost, admittedly, comes because he's not producing at all in 2019, with a .228 wOBA over 64 plate appearances. Once again, this is in part because of BABIP rearing its ugly head, though. His .242 sits well below his .278 career average and .305 from last season.
Odor's no killer from the dish at the best of times, but with a career .320 wOBA and .212 ISO, he's shown plenty of upside against right-handed pitching. Hitting in the heart of what promises to be a high-scoring offense means that production is certainly enough to put him in play on Tuesday.
