Sometimes, streaming pitchers is as basic as looking at who is starting at home.

Chase Anderson, Arizona Diamondbacks

Yahoo Ownership: 25%
ESPN Ownership: 24%

Chase Anderson couldn’t pitch all season without a clunker here or there. Sunday’s forgettable start was only the second time this season that Anderson allowed more than three runs, one of the baselines for a quality start. He can lick his wounds and get excited for a home start against the New York Mets on Friday.

The Mets have scored 67 runs on the road, the fewest in the Majors this season by eight. There’s a good chance that the team above them, the Dodgers, will widen that gap in the two games that they have in hand on the road. The (not so) Amazins also own the worst OBP, slugging percentage and OPS in the Majors away from their friendly confines. Only the Red Sox have a worse batting average -- by .001. New York has only earned 48 free passes, third worst ahead of Milwaukee and Kansas City.

New York has hit into 21 road double plays, and Chase Anderson gets groundballs 43.8% of the time. That’s a pretty strong case against the Mets and for Anderson. Use him with confidence.
