Fantasy Baseball Streaming Pitchers: Home Cooking Dominates Options
Sometimes, streaming pitchers is as basic as looking at who is starting at home.

Roenis Elias, Seattle Mariners

Tampa Bay is one of the more patient teams in baseball, so you’d think it’d be smart to avoid a pitcher like Roenis Elias, right? Well, this time may be the best time to go for broke and take a chance on Elias. He has one win against the Rays at Tampa Bay where he allowed one run over six innings.

The Rays depend on their patience. Their 62 extra base hits and 41.5 AB/HR are in the bottom 10 in baseball. Their 78 runs away from sunny Florida are second worst in the American League and fourth worst overall. Tampa has yet to play along the west coast this season, but in 2014 the Rays went 4-6 and were shut out two times. Elias is a borderline streamer, but if his strong may (3.05 ERA in six starts) carries over into the beginning of June, a home start against a mediocre offense is worth the risk.
