David Ortiz may be having the greatest season by a 40-year-old of all-time.

He’s already blasted 9 home runs en route to a ridiculous .357 ISO and .453 wOBA. Eight of those nine home runs have come versus right-handed pitching, which shouldn’t be a surprise. Last season, Ortiz crushed righties to the tune of a .320 ISO and .413 wOBA.

Tonight he’ll have the pleasure of facing Lance McCullers, who is making his first start of 2016 after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Last year, McCullers only allowed 3 home runs and a .110 ISO to lefties, but his minor league history suggests that we should be skeptical of his newfound ability to contain them.
