4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Studs to Target on 6/8/16
Bryce Harper is in a good spot tonight versus the struggling James Shields. What other expensive players are worth checking out?

Bryce Harper, OF, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $4,000

Bryce Harper is in an outstanding spot today against Chicago White Sox right-hander James Shields. The newly-acquired Shields is making his first start for the White Sox, and he’s been bad so far in 2016. Shields owns a 4.36 SIERA, 20.1% strikeout rate and 9.5% walk rate. Washington has an implied total of 4.38 runs.

Harper has owned righties in his career, destroying right-handed pitching to the tune of a .405 wOBA. In 2015, he posted an insane .478 wOBA against right-handers.

While he’s off to something of a slow start, by his 2015 standards, Harper still owns a .378 wOBA with 14 jacks and more walks (21.3% walk rate) than strikeouts (17.8% strikeout rate). His .240 BABIP, significantly lower than his .324 career clip, is surely due to rise, and his .272 ISO is superb.
