Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Trevor Plouffe is rarely a popular option, and with Josh Donaldson, Alex Rodriguez, Anthony Rendon on today's slate, he will likely go overlooked once again.

Why You Should Use Him:

After a horrible start to the season, Plouffe has showed signs of turning things around in June. He has two homers and eight RBI over his last eight games, a span in which he has averaged a much-improved 10 FanDuel points.

Plouffe will look to build on his recent success in tonight's matchup with lefty CC Sabathia. Sabathia has enjoyed quite the renaissance season, posting a 2.28 ERA through 10 starts, but his 4.56 SIERA suggests that number is hardly indicative of his actual performance.

In his career, Sabthia has an xFIP that is an entire point higher against righties than lefties, which bodes well for Plouffe. Plouffe, a righty, has posted much improved numbers against lefties in his career.

Plouffe is far from a cash play tonight, but his on-paper upside in this matchup warrants some consideration in tournaments at such a cheap price tag.
