FanDuel Price: $2,500
Oswaldo Arcia was scratched due to illness yesterday, so make sure to double-check when lineups are released to see if he's playing tonight, but without news of it being anything serious, I like his chances of playing.
Arcia has very promising numbers against right-handed pitching through his young career, with a .342 wOBA, .228 isolated slugging and 33.8 percent hard-hit rate. The sample size is obviously tiny at five games, but he has also been outstanding since joining the Rays earlier this month, with a .438/.444/.750 slash in that span.
He draws a matchup tonight against Jordan Zimmermann, who is in the midst of what might be the worst season of his career. Zimmermann's 3.81 ERA is his highest since 2010, while his 4.51 SIERA is by far the highest of his career, and his 15.5 percent strikeout rate makes for a career-low.
Arcia isn't a paragon of safety tonight, his strikeout rate is always a bit of a concern and he may still be battling illness, but at this price point it's hard to turn down the upside he offers.
