Even with a bit of a tough matchup tonight against Carlos Carrasco, it's hard not to like Troy Tulowitzki when his salary gets down this low.
Tulo had a slow start to the season, but has gotten his groove back a bit and is up to a .215 isolated slugging on the year. He's also been on a tear since returning from injury on June 18th, with a .263/.317/.632 slash, a .394 wOBA and a .368 isolated slugging in that span.
The Carrasco matchup also might not be as bad as it looks on the surface. His 3.65 SIERA is significantly higher than his numbers for the last two seasons, and he has, so far, been fortunate enough to post a career-low .267 BABIP on the season despite allowing a 34.6 percent hard-hit rate that sits a full 5.5 percent above his career average.
