FanDuel Price: $3,700
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Both Nolan Arenado and Maikel Franco have been hitting the ball well recently and now draw a matchup against each other in Coors with a 12-run implied total. As a result, Kris Bryant or Josh Donaldson will likely be the third-most popular option at third base option tonight.
Why You Should Use Him:
The National League All-Star Team's starting third baseman has seven home runs in his last 10 games, pushing his season total to a National League-leading 25. He gets a terrific opportunity to keep being productive in a plus matchup against Lucas Harrell tonight.
Harrell has a career 4.79 ERA, and Chicago is projected to pile up 5.3 runs against him and the Braves.
Bryant boasts a .232 ISO, .514 slugging percentage and 38.2% hard-hit rate against righties. His career .380 wOBA against righties is actually higher than his mark against lefties.
Bryant has the third-highest average FanDuel points per game among all hitters on tonight's slate, but he is just -- for some reason -- the 28th-most expensive hitter.
Instead of questioning his pricing, though, let's take advantage of it. Combined with the fact that he may see lower ownership due to the Coors game, Bryant might be the best tournament play of the day.
