FanDuel Price: $3,700
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Outfield is absolutely loaded tonight, thanks to the Coors game. With Toronto projected for a good, but not great 4.8 runs tonight, Jose Bautista will likely fly under the radar.
Why You Should Use Him:
Bautista and the Blue Jays will face righty Jake Odorizzi, who has a respectable 3.70 ERA on the year. However, Odorizzi has struggled against right-handers this season, seeing his xFIP jump from 3.51 against lefties to 4.77 against righties. His career numbers back up this trend too, as he has a career 3.49 xFIP against lefties and 4.68 against righties.
Bautista has also experienced some interesting reverse splits recently, posting improved numbers across the board in both 2015 and 2016. He also has posted improved numbers at home, where this game will be played.
Bautista isn't a cash game option tonight with the way Odorizzi has pitched lately, but he is certainly in play as a high-upside tournament option.
