T9. Sacramento Kings, 2008-09

nERD: 20.0

Venturing into the 2008 NBA season, Reggie Theus continued in his capacity as head coach of the Sacramento Kings. His team started out with a record of 6-18 before he was fired mid-season. From there, Kenny Natt took the reigns, but he didn't do any better, finishing the season with a coaching record of 11-47 and an overall team mark of 17-65.

At one point, the Kings lost nine games in a row, and at two other points in the season, they lost eight games in a row. With a league-worst defensive rating (114.7 points allowed per 100 possessions), Sacramento was 6.4 points worse relative to the league average.

Jason Thompson was the team's leader in minutes and tallied just 2.7 win shares on the season. Speaking of win shares, Kevin Martin was the team leader with just 4.7 in 51 games played, speaking to the Kings' utter lack of talent and efficiency.
