3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Basketball Plays for 3/6/17
A loaded power forward player pool might keep LaMarcus Aldridge's ownership low despite an excellent matchup against the Rockets.

LaMarcus Aldridge, PF, San Antonio Spurs

FanDuel Price: $7,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are plenty of appealing power forwards on tonight's 12-game slate, highlighted by the likes of Nikola Jokic, Dario Saric, Kristaps Porzingis, and Aaron Gordon if Nikola Vucevic sits again.

All four should be chalky, while Saric and Porzingis are in the same price range as LaMarcus Aldridge, which should keep his ownership subdued.

Why You Should Use Him:

While Aldridge's recent numbers have certainly been inflated by overtime, it is impossible to ignore the volume he has seen. He's averaged 42 minutes, 21.5 shot attempts, and 40 FanDuel points over his past two games.

If he sees that type of volume again against the Houston Rockets, he should have no trouble being productive. Houston has allowed the ninth-most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards and the third-most to centers. They've also allowed the most points in the post this season, an area where Aldridge excels -- he ranks fifth in post scoring after leading the league in said category last season.

Our projections like Aldridge tonight, listing him as the best value of any power forward priced above $7,000. Given the matchup and his recent production, along with the slate-high 221-point over/under in this game, Aldridge seems like a steal.
