The 10 Best Fantasy Basketball Seasons in Recent History
Which NBA players have provided the most value to fantasy basketball owners in recent years?

3. Kevin Garnett, Minnesota Timberwolves (2003-04)

Values: 1.32 Total/1.12 Per Game/.72 Per 36 Minutes

I think we're seeing a trend here, because in his 21 NBA seasons, Kevin Garnett netted just a single MVP Award -- and it was this year. At age 27, and in a full 82-game season, he complied 24.2 points, 13.9 rebounds and 2.2 blocks a contest. In accordance with those averages, Garnett earned himself fantasy values of 2.06 or better in those categories. In fact, KG led the NBA with a rebounding value of 3.19.

He was a slight negative in both turnovers (-.84) and threes (-.92), but he added positive values in assists (.99), steals (.9) and free throw percentage (.39). Even more impressive was his 49.9% shooting clip from the floor, in which Garnett ranked second only to Shaquille O'Neal in fantasy value (2.23).
