The 10 Best Fantasy Basketball Seasons in Recent History
Which NBA players have provided the most value to fantasy basketball owners in recent years?

8. LeBron James, Miami Heat (2012-13)

Values: 1.11 Total/1.04 Per Game/.61 Per 36 Minutes

It's probably hard to comprehend, but LeBron's third of four seasons with the Miami Heat was the only one in which he qualified for this list of fantasy legends. Across 76 games, he scored 26.8 points while grabbing 8.0 rebounds and dishing out 7.3 assists per contest, along with producing 1.7 steals on the defensive end.

Now, in all four of those columns, James posted a value of at least 1.04, including a value of 2.95 in points alone. But where LeBron separated himself from prior seasons was his efficiency. While posting the second-best player efficiency rating (31.6) of his career, the King shot 56.5% from the field, which returned a value of 3.51 for fantasy owners.

That more than compensated for his lackluster free throw shooting (-.82) and turnover totals (-1.48).
