3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Basketball Plays for 4/5/17
Jonas Valanciunas isn't likely to be popular in a tough matchup against Detroit, but a deeper look suggests he could find success on Wednesday.

Tyler Ulis, PG, Phoenix Suns

FanDuel Price: $6,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Tyler Ulis has played well recently, but is part of a deep point guard player pool and finds himself priced awkwardly between the top-end studs and appealing value plays. With several enticing options of both kinds, don't expect Ulis to be overly popular tonight.

Why You Should Use Him:

Ulis' production hasn't always remained consistent, but one thing has -- his playing time. Since becoming the starting point guard, he has seen below 35 minutes in just 1 of 11 games. He has averaged a ridiculous 40.8 minutes per game over his past five, a stretch during which he averaged 37.8 FanDuel points.

The large spread in this one is concerning, as the Phoenix Suns could certainly find themselves on the wrong end of a blowout, but that is what is likely going to keep his ownership down. Considering Phoenix has lost 12 straight games (six by double digits), it doesn't appear Ulis' playing time is really affected much by the score.

This game will be played at a blistering pace, as both teams rank in the top-four in pace of play. That, along with Ulis' role and recent production should be enough for him to overcome a tough on-paper matchup against the Golden State Warriors. He is a viable play in any format tonight.
