For the second straight season, the 2008 Utah Jazz won at least 50 games and did so for the first time since 2001. They earned a nERD of 69.5 as they topped the NBA ranks in offensive efficiency at 113.8 points per 100 possessions.

The Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer-led team didn't hold up in the semifinals, after a 4-2 first-round win over the Rockets. They lost to the Lakers in six games.
