The Los Angeles Lakers were a terrific fantasy matchup for frontcourt players last season, allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to centers and the most to power forwards.

The addition of Brook Lopez at the five isn't likely to change that, as the Brooklyn Nets also gave up top-five fantasy numbers to centers. The Lakers already played at a top-five pace last year, and they look set on keeping up the high tempo, having posted a pace of 105.3 in the preseason.

Blake Griffin's 39.0 FanDuel points per game during 2016-17 weren't especially huge relative to today's price tag, but he was limited by injuries a bit and he did average a solid 1.15 FanDuel points per minute.

He could also be in for an increased role since the Los Angeles Clippers reportedly want to use him at the five more. A matchup with the Lakers should allow him to open the year with a big fantasy day.
