5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays for 12/7/17
Inconsistent or lack of minutes might keep most from rostering these five guys. But why should you be targeting them in your NBA DFS lineups tonight?

Ryan Anderson, PF, Houston Rockets

FanDuel Price: $4,100
Projected FanDuel Points: 20.7
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.04

Ryan Anderson is another one of those guys whose minutes and fantasy production look bad for the right reasons. After playing just 12 minutes, he left Sunday's game with back tightness, but he is probable for Thursday's seemingly tough matchup against the Utah Jazz.

While the Jazz are one of those slow-paced teams that usually cause us to fade their opponents, they haven't quite been the same Jazz this season and especially of late. After ranking third in defensive rating and last in pace in 2016-17, the Jazz have made the move up to 27th in pace with the league's sixth-best defensive rating this season. And in four out of their last 10 games, they've played at a pace above their season-average (95.2 possessions per 48). They've also allowed 100 or more points in three of their last four.

As much as things have changed over the year in Utah, it's Anderson's discount price tag that makes him so appealing. At just $4,100, he's averaging 21.2 FanDuel points on the year and, according to NBAWowy!, he's put up 0.88 FanDuel points per minute in 110 minutes with Chris Paul, compared to 0.68 without him on the floor.

If that sample size is any indication, Anderson should be able to utilize his sharpshooting skills with two off-the-bounce playmakers on the floor. Smells like value to me.
