5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays for 12/19/17
Even with only three games to choose from, there's plenty of value to be found on Tuesday night's FanDuel slate, especially in Washington.

Kelly Oubre, SF, Washington Wizards

FanDuel Price: $4,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 22
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.77

Kelly Oubre's viability as a value play tonight is largely dependent on the availability of Otto Porter. Porter is dealing with a hip issue and was not able to practice on Monday, leading to a questionable tag as we head into tonight's short slate. Though Oubre is usable at this price regardless of Porter's status, his upside shoots higher if the former Hoya sits as he'll likely be inserted into the starting lineup and see increased run.

Oubre's price rose to $5,300 as recently as December 9th, but a 1.2 FanDuel-point game led to his salary plummeting thereafter by as much as $800. The algorithms may have been a bit reactionary, as he's continued to hit at least five-times value in each of the four games after that dud. Both the Wizards and the New Orleans Pelicans are top-12 in offensive rating, and the Pelicans are giving up an estimated 110.5 points per 100 possessions, fourth-worst in the league. Needless to say, these two teams should rack up the points, as indicated by the game's total of 219, highest on the slate.

Our projections indicate that Oubre will once again return nearly five-times value tonight, and that's with the assumption that Porter suits up. If Porter's out, those numbers will only go up.
