DraftKings Salary: $4,100
In the short-term aftermath of the Griffin deal, the Los Angeles Clippers are going to be left very shorthanded for tonight's game. Assuming Danilo Gallinari doesn't suit up, they will likely have to run out an eight-man rotation, with DeAndre Jordan and Montrezl Harrell left as the only real post presences on the roster. They will probably give Wesley Johnson and Sam Dekker some run at power forward, but Harrell will likely be forced into 20-plus minutes against a Portland Trail Blazers team that has a stable of true post players at their disposal.
If we are going to see 20-plus minutes from Harrell, he has a very good chance to hit value at a price tag that requires 20.5 DraftKings points of him. He's averaging 1.06 DraftKings points over the past two weeks, which is right in line with his 1.07 mark for the year. That type of efficiency would require just 19 minutes to reach value.
The potential is there for many more minutes than that, which provides Harrell with an intriguing ceiling for tournaments. He is likely too risky to take a chance on in cash games, but is worth a look as a tournament punt play.
