DraftKings Salary: $5,900
For whatever reason, Willie Cauley-Stein heads into tonight's slate priced under $6,000 for the first time since January 15th. He comes at a $1,500 discount to FanDuel, where he is priced at $7,400, and stands out as one of the strongest values on the slate at his adjusted price tag. Our projections back up that notion, listing him as the third-best value among players priced above $5,000.
Cauley-Stein struggled in his most recent game, but had topped 30 DraftKings points in eight of his past 11 games prior to that. He's found success in this matchup, too, averaging 29.6 DraftKings points in two previous meetings with the Dallas Mavericks. Dallas ranks in the bottom-10 in DraftKings points allowed to opposing centers and is last in rebounding rate, so those performances shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
At this price tag, Cauley-Stein is viable in any format. He's not a must in cash games on a slate full of appealing big men, but you definitely need to get some exposure in tournaments.
