5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 3/2/18
The Clippers are expected to be one of the night's highest-scoring teams, with Milos Teodosic in line to reap the benefits. Which other players make for intriguing plays at sub-$5,000 salaries?

David Nwaba, SF, Chicago Bulls

FanDuel Price: $4,800
Projected FanDuel Points: 17.4
Projected FanDuel Value: 3.62

According to recent reports, the Chicago Bulls are going to be changing up their lineup after tonight's contest. To start next week, the team's planning to send out a different starting five for the next five games, so David Nwaba's run as a starter could end against the Dallas Mavericks. It's not a given, and if you consider Nwaba's play it shouldn't be.

In his last four starts, Nwaba is putting up averages of 13 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals. Altogether, that's amounted to 29.0 FanDuel points in 32.4 minutes a game. He's shooting 65.6% from the floor and 5-of-6 from three, but that's nothing new here. In a total of seven starts this year, Nwaba is choosing his shots well with a true shooting of 66% in 30.6 minutes of play. With him, the efficient double-digit scoring is just a really nice, high-upside bonus to his consistent peripherals.

Dallas is 24th in opponent effective field goal percentage and 28th in total rebounds allowed per game. Surprisingly, Nwaba's price is still below $5,000. He's one of a few starters around that price point, and he could take advantage of the Mavericks' glaring weaknesses.
