Just four days, Frank Kaminsky played 26-plus minutes and finished with 27.3 FanDuel points against tonight's opponent, the Philadelphia 76ers. In the game between Friday and Tuesday, Kaminsky also played more than 26 minutes with 22.8 FanDuel points on 15 points and 4 rebounds. But what makes him so appealing in tonight's matchup?
With Marvin Williams, Cody Zeller, Guillermo Hernangomez and Dwight Howard all vying for minutes down low, Kaminsky's had a difficult time getting consistent playing time. He's averaging 23.3 minutes per game on the year and has 12 games below 20 minutes to his name. But, Williams is questionable with a migraine. If he sits, Kaminsky would start and likely see around 30 minutes.
If the Sixers employ the same strategy as last time, Kaminsky should be in for a nice night. Per NBA.com, the big man roasted Dario Saric and Ersan Ilyasova for 13 points in 34 combined possessions, all the while shooting 3-of-5 from three and with three shooting fouls drawn (for four free throws). It's unlikely that anyone else attempts to guard Kaminsky and his outside-inside game, so he's an appealing option at his price point.
