Out of the break, Patty Mills' fantasy production started out high, but it's been on a decline since. After putting up 35.3 FanDuel points against the Denver Nuggets, Mills has produced 22.9, 19.6, 18.9 and 11.7 FanDuel points in his past four.
Mills played good minutes outside of the team's last game against the Memphis Grizzlies. That was basically a rest game for the Spurs as several of their players got fewer minutes than they're accustomed to seeing. Setting that aside, Mills is averaging 33.6 minutes in the last four, and it's probably safe to expect that same kind of run against the Golden State Warriors tonight.
The Spurs are still holding the reigns back a bit on Dejounte Murray. While he's taken over as the starter, he's averaged just 26.1 minutes a game in the last five. Of those, 23.3 have come beside Mills. So it would appear that the Spurs are going small, which provides Mills with a safe minutes floor and, therefore, an intriguing fantasy floor. Add in the pace-up factor (the Warriors are averaging 5.2 more possessions per 48 minutes), and he's a solid value play tonight at point guard.
