Yesterday, Allen Crabbe failed to go through practice and is now considered questionable to play Friday for the Brooklyn Nets. If he's unable to go, coach Kenny Atkinson will likely spread Crabbe's minutes across multiple players, but he's chosen to keep Caris LeVert on the bench, so Joe Harris is the top option to start at small forward.
So far this season, Harris has made nine starts at multiple positions. He has averaged 31.8 minutes while posting 21.7 FanDuel points with 11 points on 40.2% shooting and 36% from three. There's room for improvement, too, as Harris has shot more than seven percentage points better from the floor and four percentage points better from three on the year.
If Crabbe is out, Harris' matchup makes him even more of an attractive option. The 76ers have proven themselves as an above-average defense, but they've allowed 39.86 FanDuel points per 48 to opposing small forwards, ranking 20th in our defense-versus-position matchups. If any Net is worth a dart throw in tournaments, it's Harris.
