DraftKings Price: $4,500
With Denzel Valentine confirmed out for at least a couple of weeks, Chicago Bulls guard/forward Justin Holiday will continue to start and see all the run he can handle. He and his teammates got the season off to a slow start in a blowout loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, but he showed his upside in a high-scoring, last-minute loss to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
Holiday sank 6-of-8 field goals, including 2-of-3 from deep, and was a perfect 5-for-5 from the line. His 34.5 DraftKings points were impressive -- especially at his $4,300 salary -- but the more important thing is that he saw the court for 38 minutes.
Until Valentine gets back, and as long as games are close as tonight's game should be (the Dallas Mavericks are favored by 5.5 in a game with a 228.5 total), then Holiday will continue to see minutes in the 30s and the fantasy-friendly opportunity that comes with them.
Holiday scored 28.75 DraftKings points in his only matchup against the Mavs last year, and we have him pegged for a slightly lower 24.5 tonight. That would still return a value of over 5.4 DraftKings points per $1,000.
