DraftKings Price: $8,400
Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic is trying to remind people on every night that he is one of the premier centers in the NBA. His 17.9 points per game is his best mark in three years, his 10.5 rebounds is his best mark in four years, and he is averaging career highs in assists, steals, blocks, field goal percentage, and three-point percentage.
While he doesn't make enough threes to qualify for the league leaderboard, his 52.9% from deep would rank sixth if he could up his makes by just a hair. Seven other center-eligible players on tonight's slate are averaging more DraftKings points per game than Vooch, but that just speaks to the depth at the position and should not be taken as a negative by any means.
The Magic will face the Detroit Pistons tonight. Detroit is just middle of the pack against opposing centers this season, giving up an average of 55.95 DraftKings points per game to the position. Vooch has scored at least 43.75 in each of his past three games against them, including a 60.5 spot in his first game against them last year.
We have his base projection at 38.8 DraftKings points this evening with upside for 63.1 if he gets on a roll.
