DraftKings Price: $9,100
With Russell Westbrook already ruled out with an ankle injury, the rest of the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to have to step up and fill the void. While you can certainly consider using Dennis Schroder, who will take Westbrook's spot as the starting point guard tonight, the biggest beneficiary is likely small forward Paul George.
Since joining the Thunder in the 2017-18 season, George's usage rate has skyrocketed from 25.6% to 37.2% when Westbrook hasn't been able to play. Not surprisingly, he's averaging 5.5 more points, 1.6 more assists, and his average DraftKings output has increased from 39.5 to 47.6.
Tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers has a 221.5 total, and is likely to be one of the highest-scoring affairs on the slate, rife with fantasy potential.
We project George to score 44.8 DraftKings points tonight with upside for 58.4. While there are pricier names on the slate, George offers similar upside for a significant price cut.
